Mike proposed to Katie in Disney World in front of Cinderella's castle, and while I really can't beat that, we had a great time taking their engagement portraits. Katie and Mike met in 2010 at UNC Charlotte when they were freshman. Fast forward 8 years and they are getting married next summer! We took their portraits with their adorable (and super well trained) golden-doodle Daisy at the UNC Charlotte botanical gardens. Between Daisy running all over the place, and the poses I was making them do, we spent most of the session cracking up. But no matter what hand-holding, staring into each other's eyes - kind of pose I was suggesting, their genuine love shone through in each photo.
